Beginner Shao Lin Kung Fu Class

Master Bao’s next ‘Beginner Shao Lin Kung Fu‘ class will begin on Wednesday, October 6th, 2010.

In this class, Master Bao will be teaching ‘Shao Lin Xiao Chang Quan’.

This course is an introduction to the Shao Lin martial art of Kung Fu.  Students do not require any martial arts experience to join this course.

Experienced Kung Fu players are also welcome, as Master Bao will generously share her 30 years of Kung Fu knowledge and practice throughout this course, expanding on beginner concepts.

*In this course, there will not be any striking, kicking, blocking or ‘combat action’ with other students of any kind.

This course consists of 10 classes (10 weeks) and will be held on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:00pm in the Mary Hall Gym at the Selkirk College 10th St. Campus.

The cost of this course is $100.

Drop-ins are welcome at $12/class.

Hello,
I am interested in taking kung fu and was wondering if there are any classes starting up for the winter? I am also a teen and was wondering if it was okay to try out the adult classes?

Hi Ana.

Thank you very much for making contact.

My name is Daniel. I am Master Bao’s husband and co-founder of the ‘Bao
ACADEMY of Tai Chi & Kung Fu’.

We have not determined the dates of Kung Fu classes in the New Year at
this time, but we do intend start them in late January or early February.

Until then, you are very welcome to come and participate in the Adult Kung
Fu class that is being held on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:00 pm at the Mary
Hall Gym, Selkirk College, 10th Street Campus.

There are several other teens in the class, some young women and
middle-aged women as well. You should not feel ‘out of place’.

Please give me a call at 250-505-8057 if you’d like to come by this
Wednesday (the 1st of December) just so we know to expect you.
